Storing & Transporting Your Cake
Your cake is beautifully delicate and we want it to stay in perfect condition from the time you collect your cake to the time it arrives at its final destination.
Please follow these instructions carefully.
Storage Tips
• Once you’ve reached your destination, keep the cake in its box and place it in the fridge.
• Refer to the flyer included with your cake to find the recommended time to take it out of the fridge before serving.
• This ensures it’s enjoyed at the ideal temperature and texture.
• Always keep the cake in a safe spot, away from direct sunlight or any other heat sources.
• The safest spot for your cake is on the floor of the backseat area, where it can sit on a flat, stable surface with minimal risk of sliding.
• Avoid placing the cake box on a car seat, as the incline can cause the cake to shift or slope during the drive.
• If your journey is more than 30 minutes on a warm day or 1.5 hours on a cooler day, please let us know in advance. We can ensure your cake is extra chilled at pickup.
• On especially hot days, ask us about our cooling box rental option to keep your cake perfectly fresh.
• When your cake is M-size or larger, consider bringing a large, sturdy bag to carry the cake box—something like a blue IKEA bag works perfectly!
• Smaller cakes are better to be held by hand.
Keep the box level and stable at all times during your trip.
• Please don’t collect your cake by bike.We promise it’s not a good idea, no matter how confident you are.
